Accountability, Assessment and Data

Adams 14 School District utilizes assessment data as an essential element in the Teaching and Learning Cycle. We have created an assessment plan to provide consistent measures of what our students know and are able to do in order to provide evidence to support teachers and school staff in planning instruction and providing feedback to students. Our goal is to provide exceptional service for data collection, reporting, and analysis used to inform instruction and improve student achievement.

Goals:
  • Provide a reliable assessment strategy for Pre-K through 12th grade
  • Manage federal, state, and local assessment initiatives
  • Provide accurate and timely information regarding testing purposes, procedures, and results
  • Provide guidance on the appropriate use of assessment results for accountability purposes
