National Hispanic Heritage Month is observed each year from September 15 to October 15 to celebrate the histories, cultures, and contributions of Americans whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.
Adams County School District 14 has an important role in educating students and the larger community about the diversity of the Hispanic and Latinx communities and their contributions to the State of Colorado and the United States of America. The Adams 14 Board of Education recognizes inclusion as a core value of Adams 14 and is committed to highlighting the rich diversity of peoples and histories within the Hispanic and Latinx communities.
