Adams 14 Welcomed Students at Back-to-School Resource Fair and Welcomes Employees at Welcome Rally
The Adams County School District 14 (Adams 14) hosted its annual Back-to-School Resource Fair at Adams City High School on July 23, 2022. For over a decade, Adams 14 has hosted a resource fair for families and students across the district. More than 1,138 families participated in the event, where they received valuable information, resources, and school supplies.
“It was amazing to see so many members of our community come together to support our school district,” stated Dr. Karla Loría, Adams 14 superintendent. “Adams 14 and the community are working together as partners to ensure every student has the tools to be successful and the opportunity to learn in a supportive environment.” Over 20 local vendors participated in the resource fair providing resources and school supplies to Adams 14 families and students. Community partners offered food and clothing assistance, haircuts vouchers, vaccines, and afterschool engagement opportunities.
The district will host the Adams 14 All-Employee Welcome Rally to kick off the 2022-2023 school year on Aug. 2, 2022. This event will be held at Impacto de Fe, 5155 E. 64th Ave., Commerce City. This year, Rudy Gonzales will be the keynote speaker. Gonzales serves as the chief executive officer for the Rio Grande Council Inc.
