Our second semester is in full swing as we approach March, and I have several important news items to share with students and parents.
While the state of Colorado provides funding for half-day preschool (15 hours), beginning in the 2023-2024 school year, Adams 14 will offer full-time preschool at no cost to families. Adams 14 believes that it is important to build a strong learning foundation as early as possible so that students can academically perform better throughout their school years. As you think about the upcoming school year and registration, please know that getting vaccinated is an important part of school readiness and it keeps children from catching and spreading diseases that can make them sick and potentially disrupt in-person learning. As always, I wish you all a fantastic week of learning!
At your service,
Superintendent Dr. Karla Loría

Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Information Regarding Student Vaccinations
We know you are thinking of all the things you need to do to make sure your student is ready for school. Getting vaccinated is an important part of their school readiness and keeps children from catching and spreading diseases that can make them sick and potentially disrupt in-person learning.
For more information, see the below documents from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
Adams 14 understands that the decision to close schools, delay school start times, or dismiss students early due to inclement weather has a significant impact on our families. Thus, the district takes careful consideration when making a determination regarding our inclement weather options and is committed to informing families as early as possible.
Kids First Health Care is thrilled to welcome all Adams 14 students back to school for the 2022-2023 school year!
