A Message From Our Superintendent

Dear Adams 14 Community,

I hope you all had a rejuvenating holiday weekend with family and friends! Last week was the end of our World of Wonder! summer school program. I could not be happier and more proud of our gifted students, many of whom presented learning achievements in both English and Spanish. Witnessing their learning accomplishments has only made me more excited about the upcoming school year!

Although there are no classes during the month of July, Adams 14 is committed to offering meals to our students during this time. Please note that summer meals are not available this week (July 4-8, 2022); however, they will be provided Monday through Thursday at the following sites and times:

  • July 11-21, 2022: Central Elementary School from 12 to 1 p.m.
  • July 11-29, 2022: Suncor Boys & Girls Club from 12 to 12:30 p.m.

As you prepare for the 2022-2023 academic year, please make sure to check the school supply lists. Additionally, Adams 14 is hosting its annual Back-to-School Resource Fair on July 23 for all families in the community. We hope to see you there!

At your service,

Dr. Karla Loría
Adams 14 Superintendent

This week, the district is in the Green Zone.

  • Face coverings are not required for athletics or extracurricular activities.
  • Consistent with applicable law, accommodations are available for students and staff, which are based on disability or medical condition.
  • Masks are no longer required on school buses, according to new guidelines from the CDC and Tri-County Health Department. Bus drivers will continue to have masks available if students desire to wear them.
  • Elementary special classes will operate as usual, allowing students to travel to established art, music, and physical education.

The COVID-19 Response Dial and protocol takes into consideration the community COVID-19 vaccination rate, the Adams 14 employee and student COVID-19 vaccination rate, and our community COVID-19 transmission rate. The Adams 14 COVID-19 Response Dial and protocol will vary based on the aforementioned data, and our response will be clearly articulated in a Green Zone, Yellow Zone, and Red Zone.
