I hope you had a restful weekend spending time with friends and family and enjoying the beautiful weather we have had these past few days!
During last week’s Adams 14 Board of Education meeting, I was proud to support the board members’ two proclamations honoring Pride Month and Juneteenth.
The first proclamation declared the month of June as Pride Month and celebrated the history and contributions of people identifying as part of the LGBTQ+ community. The second proclamation was dedicated to the federal and state holiday of Juneteenth, which further reaffirmed June 19 as a time for us to celebrate the emancipation of enslaved people and the contributions of Black/African Americans.
It is my belief that diversity is our greatest strength, and I am fully committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for our diverse students. As June comes to an end soon, I invite you to reflect on ways we can live and work together toward a more equitable community built on mutual respect.
I have enjoyed seeing the progress of our summer school students as they learn not only in the classroom, but also during exciting field trips to the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, and the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum. Please join us as we recognize their accomplishments during the Celebration of Learning on June 30 at each summer school site.
I hope you all have a great rest of your week! Please do not hesitate to contact me or anyone else on the Adams 14 team if you have any questions or concerns about registration or the 2022-2023 school year.
At your service,
Dr. Karla Loría Adams 14 Superintendent

Parents or legal guardians and students must complete the following four forms:
Summary Sheet (also referred to as the Registration Form)

All Chromebooks, iPads, and chargers that are not in use must be returned to your school’s front office staff. We appreciate your support!
