Colorado Department of Health and Environment Crisis Counseling Program

The Colorado Spirit Crisis Counseling and Training Program (CCP) is designed to support individuals and communities impacted by the challenges of COVID-19. The program aims to promote recovery, resilience, and empowerment while strengthening existing community support systems by helping with the emotional needs of survivors and those affected by the pandemic.

All services are free and anonymous.

How CCP Can Help

CCP’s trained crisis counselors are there to listen and provide emotional support around the feelings that life during the pandemic may bring up, such as worry, sadness, hopelessness, or anger.

  • Understanding, managing, and reducing stress.
  • Developing coping strategies.
  • Connection to community resources and other relief services.
  • Providing education and information to address the unique challenges of COVID-19.
  • Assisting survivors in reviewing their disaster recovery options.
