What to Expect
Testing through COVIDCheck Colorado is easy, fast and convenient. To ensure the most efficient testing experience, individuals are encouraged to register. Pre-registration is highly encouraged to enable test site staff to plan for a seamless testing experience. COVIDCheck Colorado uses a nasal mid-turbinate swab PCR test, which is a highly sensitive and reliable test that is administered by licensed medical professionals. Here’s what to expect:
Mask Up: On the day of your appointment, please arrive wearing your mask.
Drive Up: A member of the COVIDCheck Colorado team will greet you and get you checked in.
Look Up: A trained medical professional will explain the sample collection process and insert a swab about two inches into each nostril for about 10 seconds.
Getting Your Results
Depending on the contact information you provided during registration, you will receive a text message and/or email alert from PrimaryBio when your results are available. If you test positive, you will receive a phone call from a telehealth clinician who will provide support and guidance on next steps. Those who have been exposed to the virus will be notified in accordance with the state’s contact tracing protocols and health privacy practices.
